K- Gutenberg Discontinuity: Boundary at ~2,900 km depth between Earth's liquid outer core and solid inner core, characterized by seismic wave changes. L- Continental Crust: Thick, lighter, granitic outer layer of Earth's lithosphere (~35-70 km) forming continents and continental shelves. M- Mantle: Layer between Earth's crust and core, mostly solid, composed of silicate rocks, and involved in convection-driven plate tectonics.
