Question

Explain the events of the light stage of photosynthesis.

Answer

Light energy, absorbed by chlorophyll molecules, is used to split water molecule into oxygen and hydrogen atoms/ions through a process known as Photolysis. Light energy is converted into chemical energy (ATP) and stored.
