A girl looks into a plane mirror 3 m in from her and sees the image of the wall which is 2.5m behind her. What is the difference between the girl’s eyes and the image of the wall?
Answer
Total distance between object O (wall) and mirror is (2.5 + 3)m = 5.5 m
Object distance = image distance
Hence distance from eye of the girl
= 5.5. + 3 = 8.5 m
