Explain why a rubber balloon, if rubbed will often stick to the wall where it has been rubbed
Answer
When the balloon is rubbed, it acquires a charge (negative). The negatively charged balloon repels a few electrons from the surface of the wall leaving it positively charged. The negatively charged is attracted to the positively charged surface of the wall

Three identical bulbs are connected in series with a battery. At first, the bulbs shine brightly but gradually become dimmer. Using the same cells, explain how you would increase the brightness of the bulbs
Answer
Connect the three bulbs in parallel so that the internal resistance is reduced. This set up increases the current making the bulbs more bright

In the diagram below, two pins are attached to the end of a magnet as shown.

Explain the behaviour of the pins
Answer
The pin attains magnetism by induction. 1mk. The free poles become south poles. Since like poles repel the pins repeal each other

State one advantage and one disadvantage of using a convex mirror as a driving mirror
