  1. - When a permeable rock lies on top of an impermeable rock on a hill, a spring may develop at the function of the rock types
    - Where the water table comes to the surface along the sides of a valley
    - When there are faults and water percolates these faults and permeable rocks comes against the impermeable one
  2. - Formed when there’s a resistant rock on its cause. The side of the resistant rock where erosion takes place form a crag while the side where deposition takes place forms a tail
    - The crag is steep while the tail is gentle
