What is Esoma-KE Content?

Esoma-KE Content is a platform where teachers can provide materials to teachers and student at a price.

Who uses Esoma-KE Content?

The content hosted on Esoma-KE can be accessed by both students and teachers. To be a content provider, one has to be a teacher, either TSC-approved or not.

How do I start creating content?

To start creating content, a Teacher's Account is required. We advice that you provide a TSC number if you have one; however, it is not a mandatory requirement (see the button below to create a teacher's account). Please note that you should posses valid teacher's documents per your training. Kindly note that the Email Address is a requirement for one to be approved as a content creator. What content can I upload?

The following content is currently accepted in Esoma-KE Content: The content are created around the topics in all Primary and Secondary school subjects. Click the button below to see in real-time, the subjects and topics that you can work on.

How can I upload my content?

There are two main formats of uploading content: through our upload wizard and through WhatsApp, Email or DropBox.
Our upload wizard is suitable for documents in either the PDF or DOC formats. All other formats should be submitted through the secondary methods.
Before sending your content through the secondary methods, kindly text us via WhatsApp on 0712 054195 and we will guide you.

What happens after I submit my content?

Once you submit your content, it will be verified and validated to ensure it meets the minimum standards set. If it passes, it will be formatted to Esoma-KE Content Provision standards to make it accessible to our users. Once an issue is found with your content, you will be contacted and informed of the same.

How original should my content be?

At Esoma-KE Content, we aim to provide original and unique content to our users. If your content is original and unique, it will be given priority. Although there are no direct penalties from Esoma-KE if it has been copied from external sources including books and the internet, you are required to indicated that during submission. Further, kindly note that Copyrighted materials are not accepted unless you have rights to that content. (Please see Terms and Conditions and Terms of Service).

What are the benefits of uploading content to Esoma-KE Content?

A fundamental focus of the Esoma-KE Content platform is for teachers to get value for their content. There are two key benefits of submitting your content: monetary value and access benefits.
a) Users are often required to pay for a content marked as premium for them to access it. The payments are made to Esoma-KE on behalf of the teachers who are the final recipients of the money paid.
b) By submitting content, you are also given free access to content provided by other teachers.
c) The content has a 1-year existence period where you can receive payments for a single submission throughout the year, and thereafter upon reviewing your continual request.

Who determines the price of my content?

You are responsible for determining the price of your content. Esoma-KE does not control or enforce price policies as you are the content creators. However, it is important to keep an eye on the price set for similar content and the responses received, if any, from users. The content price tag is dynamic and you can adjust it from time to time as you see fit.

How much does Esoma-KE charge to host the content?

Hosting content on Esoma-KE is absolutely free. However, we do charge a constant percentage of each payment received from users.

How will users access my content?

Content is hosted on Esoma-KE Content page. Users can be guided to your content if it meets the minimum standards set and through other pages, all within Esoma-KE Website. Further, we can link your content to our Social Media accounts.

How will I receive my payments?

Currently, all payments to teachers are made through MPesa to the number in our system. Payments can take up-to 3 business days to process. You can initiate a withdrawal from the Payments tab.

Does creating content and getting paid mean I am employed by Esoma Solutions?

Whereas our business model is to create systems for teachers to see and get value for their profession, our direct employment does not, at the moment, extend to content creators. This means that content creators receive payment in direct propotion to the content uploaded and purchased by users.

We have a robust assistance system for teachers. Kindly use the 0712 054195 number to contact us. Services available Monday-Friday (8.00 AM to 9.00 PM) and Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays (9.00AM - 5.00 PM). Any assistance requested regarding content and classroom management will be given.
